Any gift that you are able to leave to Twycross Zoo has a huge impact – whether it covers the cost of a meal or the construction of a new home for our animals. Your legacy could contribute to the survival of an entire species.
If you have decided to include a gift in your will for Twycross Zoo, thank you so much for your generosity. Choosing to tell us about your intentions means that we can thank you for your generosity during your lifetime. It also means that we can understand what long-term projects we are able to commit to now.

Can I leave money to my favourite animals?
We recommend that you leave a gift in your will “for general purposes” instead of to a particular animal or project.
This means that your gift will have a guaranteed impact, as it guards against future problems like your chosen species moving or a specific project ending. If the Zoo no longer looks after the animals that you specify, we may not be able to accept your gift.
If you do choose to leave a gift to a particular area, it is useful to include the words “but without imposing a binding obligation”.
