Calling all Elves in training!

Sparkle the Twycross Zoo Head Elf, needs your help to get everything ready for Santa’s big journey on Christmas Eve. It’s time to join the Elf Academy and complete a series of tasks and challenges, from present wrapping to reindeer food making, Sparkle needs your help.

Complete all of Sparkle’s tasks and receive your very own Elf Training Certificate.

Elf Academy Activities

Reindeer Food Making

Join Sparkle in the Elves Workshop and help him create a bag of Reindeer food. Sprinkle it outside on Christmas Eve night, the moon will make it sparkle bright. The favourite snack and tasty treat, whilst reindeer stop and rest their feet.

Storytime with Sparkle

Want to teach your little ones to have a magical impact on our planet? Settle in with Sparkle the Elf for a festive Storytime with a beautiful message about the animals with which we share our planet.

Make your own sustainable wrapping paper

All Elves should be able to make their very own wrapping paper and know how to wrap presents at lightening speed! All Elves must think about their sustainability and how they impact the planet so get ready to join Sparkle to make your own sustainable wrapping paper

Post your letter to Santa

Before you leave the Zoo, don't forget to post your letter to Santa at the postbox in our Elves Workshop

Elf Training Certificate

Once you've completed all of your Elf Academy Training, head to Guest Services to collect your certificate and go home as a fully qualified Elf

Zoo Entry

See over 500 animals, in over 500 acres of outdoor space. From Penguins to Parrots there is a whole host of endangered species for you to see at the zoo!

Terms and Conditions

In light of the current situation around covid-19, Twycross Zoo reserves the right to remove or change any activities relating to Christmas Spectacular to ensure we are following ever-changing government guidelines. Tickets bought for this period will still be valid for a normal zoo visit on that day.

Tickets to Twycross Zoo are non-transferable and non-refundable however we have introduced exceptions to this rule in light of the current situation around Covid-19.

If you need to cancel/move your booking due to one of the below reasons, please contact a member of our Guest Services Team on information@twycrosszoo.org or 01827 880 250 to discuss this further.

  1. You have tested positive for Covid-19 or are awaiting test results
  2. You are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 including but not limited to a high temperature, continuous cough and/or loss of taste and smell
  3. A member of your household has tested positive for Covid-19 or is displaying symptoms
  4. You reside in an area affected by a local lockdown

Please be aware that you may be asked to provide evidence of the above.

If you have booked tickets to Twycross Zoo as a social bubble of up to 6 people and one or more members of the bubble have been affected by the above reasons, please contact our Guest Services team to make arrangements to the tickets relating to those persons. If you have not been in contact with those persons in the last 14 days you are still welcome to visit Twycross Zoo. If you have been in contact with those persons, please contact our Guest Services Team.

If you have booked tickets for more than 6 people before Monday 14th September 2020 please contact our Guest Services Team to make the relevant changes to your booking.

If you arrive at Twycross Zoo as a group larger than 6, please be aware that members of your party will be asked to leave and/or your entire party will not be permitted entry and will be asked to leave the site and no refund will be given. Normal terms and conditions still apply.
