Something spooky is going on at Twycross Zoo this October Half Term – bring your little monsters for a wicked Halloween day out!
The wicked Twycross witch is back from 11am every day – join us and take part in lots of frightfully fun FREE* activities throughout your family day out!
Saturday 20th October – Sunday 21st October
Saturday 27th October – Sunday 4th November
Things to do this October Half Term…
The wicked witch is back!
Join in with Singing Songs and Casting Spells around her cauldron, Meet & Greets around the zoo with Tips the Monkey, Halloween photo opportunities in the Plaza, PLUS see if you can spot her visiting some of the animals around the zoo!
For only £1.50 per child, choose a pumpkin, carve and decorate it as scary as you can! All pumpkins will be entered into our competition and the wicked witch will announce one winner each day at 3pm! The lucky winner will win a spine-tingling prize!
A witch has cast a spell over the zoo and we need your help to defeat her! Read and follow the rhymes to find the trick or treat doors and defeat the wicked witches spell! Meet the witch at 3pm on your visit and see if you get a trick or a treat at the end!
Creepy Animal Enrichment Making & Conservation Games
Join our Discovery and Learning Team for lots of fun games and activities. Make Halloween-themed crafts to excite our animals’ five senses. Stick around at 2.15pm each day where our animals* will get to enjoy your spooktacular creation!
Spooky Safari Cars*
See what surprizes you can find on your drive around Explorer Zone – mind out for the cobwebs! Read rules of the road and reserve your car online here.
Team TZ will be in spooky fancy dress so why not join us and see what hocus pocus you can get up to!
Take a break from all the action outside, watch a short Halloween film but beware of the spooky introduction!

Wolf down some spooky treats and bites from The View Restaurant, Costa and Explorer Café! Creepy cakes, Halloween-themed menu for your little monsters and blood-red mulled wine for the big monsters!

Halloween activities are subject to change. Times for each activity are available on the day of your visit. Additional costs apply for Safari Cars and Pumkin Carving. Twycross Zoo will close at 5pm from 27th October 2018 for Autumn/Winter. We expect October Half Term to be busy. If you are planning a trip to visit us we advise to arrive early (Himalaya is open from 9am, with Twycross Zoo opening at 10am) and to always check your travel alerts ahead of your journey.
