Horrors of the Wild has restricted tickets available and is only bookable online by choosing an arrival timeslot between 6pm-8pm here.
Arrival timeslots are in place to ensure social distancing. Horrors of the Wild tickets do not include day entry to Twycross Zoo. The duration of the event is approximately 1hour – 1hour 30minutes. Once ‘escaped’ you will not be able to re-walk the route again. All animal habitats will be closed during the event and at no point do we guarantee that you will see zoo animals. There will be a limited number of ‘safe zones’ throughout the experience offering a place to rest, eat, drink and use toilet facilities. Suitable for teens and adults only – under 12 year olds will not be admitted to this event. This event is not suitable for anyone with a heart condition or anyone who is pregnant. £20 per person includes voluntary gift aid donation (£18.18 excluding gift aid).
Horrors of the Wild has safety measures in place to bring you a hauntingly good experience that meets government restrictions around COVID-19. Please be aware that all activities, terms & conditions, dates, times and prices are subject to change. Please read the following safety protocol here. You will be asked to sign this before entry. Please arrive in time to do this before your entrance time slot. We aim to make your time with us not only enjoyable but also safe. In order for us to do this we would like to ask you to take the time to read through and follow our safety protocol below:
Twycross Zoo reserves the right to cancel the Horrors of the Wild Event with less than 24 hours’ notice to ensure we are following the most up to date government guidelines. In the event of cancellation, Twycross Zoo will aim to change the date of the event to the next appropriate available date. If for reasons beyond our control, the date of the event cannot be moved, Twycross Zoo will ensure you receive a full refund for your Horrors of the Wild booking. Please allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed.
Tickets to Horrors of the Wild are non-transferable and non-refundable however we have introduced exceptions to this rule in light of the current situation around Covid-19.
If you need to cancel/move your booking due to one of the below reasons, please contact a member of our Guest Services Team on email@example.com or 01827 880 250 to discuss this further:
-You have tested positive for Covid-19 or are awaiting test results
-You are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 including but not limited to a high temperature, continuous cough and/or loss of taste and smell
-A member of your household has tested positive for Covid-19 or is displaying symptoms
-You reside in an area affected by a local lockdown
-Please be aware that you may be asked to provide evidence of the above.
If you have booked tickets to Horrors of the Wild as a social bubble of up to 6 people and one or more members of the bubble have been affected by the above reasons, please contact our Guest Services team to make arrangements to the tickets relating to those persons. If you have not been in contact with those persons in the last 14 days you are still welcome to visit Twycross Zoo. If you have been in contact with those persons, please contact our Guest Services Team.
If you have booked tickets for more than 6 people before Monday 14th September 2020 please contact our Guest Services Team to make the relevant changes to your booking. If you arrive at Twycross Zoo as a group larger than 6, please be aware that members of your party will be asked to leave and/or your entire party will not be permitted entry and will be asked to leave the site and no refund will be given. Normal terms and conditions still apply.
