Our elephants now have access to their grass paddock for the first time this year – and we have built a new raised walkway and viewing platform so you can enjoy watching them! The walkway now goes all the way from the entrance to Uda Walawe to the Borneo Longhouse.
From June 28th we will have our very own mini beach here at Twycross Zoo, perfect for some fun on a hot summer’s day. So grab and bucket and spade and go wild! Our popular wet play will also be running alongside the beach so don’t forget swimwear and a towel!
Three months old and unbelievably cute…that’s right it’s our new baby elephant Esha! Come and see Esha and the rest of our Asian elephants this summer. Take a walk down Uda Walawe to the viewing platform for that special photo of Esha whilst she is still so tiny – she will be fully grown before you know it!
