Coming up this October Half Term...

Twycross Ofrenda

Don't miss the beautiful ofrenda as you enter Twycross Zoo. It's a traditional altar colourfully adorned with candles and flowers, where visitors can give thanks to loved ones and animals passed. Remember to bring your photos and messages to add to it!

The Journey of the Butterflies

Celebrate one of the most beautiful butterflies on the planet. Take a photo with our beautiful monarch butterfly performers and help us signify the monarch butterfly migration by taking part in creating our butterfly craft wall.

Arts and Crafts

Stop by our arts and crafts station and take part in mask making and creating your very own marigold flower bouquet!

Traditional Games

Working in collaboration with Birmingham-based Mexican arts collective, Itzatna Arts, join in with a whole host of traditional central and southern american games.

Working again with Itzatna Arts, join father and son duo, Alfredo and Sebas whom will celebrate the importance of family and explore the subtle themes of life and death in a gentle and way in mexican culture.

Treat your little ones to face painting this half term! From sugar skulls and skeletons to pumpkins and more! Additional charges apply.

Southern American Trail

Discover the letters and find out the Spanish and Latin American names of some of our different animal species around the zoo. Tell our ranger what word the letters spell out to complete the trail!
