How to book
To book a place on the workshop please contact Guest Services at Twycross Zoo on email@example.com alternatively for further information you can contact Alex direct on firstname.lastname@example.org
What camera and equipment do I need? A digital camera is a necessity, as well as empty memory cards and charged space batteries. It is also useful to bring along your tripod if you have one. You can use any DSLR, bridge or mirrorless camera, however if you are unsure about the suitability of your camera please don’t hesitate to check with Alex on email@example.com. You’ll also be learning lots of helpful hints and tops throughout the day so remember to bring a pen and paper.
Can I hire equipment? If you wish to try some new kit for the workshop then a 20% discount has been established at Lenses for Hire. A discount code for this will be provided once you have booked on to the workshop.
Equipment purchase: A discount on own brand equipment is also available for everyone who books on to the workshop, with the photographic shop MPB Photographic (www.mpb.com). For a discount on equipment prior to the course please contact Alex on firstname.lastname@example.org, alternatively discount will be provided during the workshop.
Age restrictions? All participants must be over the age of 18.
What is included? The cost includes the workshop, entry to the zoo, a Q&A session with an animal expert, as well as a complimentary hot drink upon arrival. Further refreshments and food throughout the day will need to be purchased so we recommend bringing some money or a packed lunch.
How big are the groups? There are 6 places on each workshop. This allows Alex to provide one-on-one assistance with each student.
What if the weather is bad? No matter what the weather, we will ensure the workshop will go ahead, with the utilisation of indoor and outdoor enclosures used appropriately. It is important to dress appropriately and make sure your kit is protected.
