The bat walk and talk is back! Join us for a Conservation Evening with a difference. Ann Gleave, an expert from the Leicestershire & Rutland Bat Group (LRBG) will be joining us to introduce the only true flying mammal, the wonderful bat! There are 18 species of bats in the UK and you'll learn about the threats to their survival and the ways in which groups like LRBG are monitoring and protecting them.

Following the talk we'll head out into our nature reserve in small groups and listen and look for some of our native bat species* under the guidance of our zoo team & expert Ann.

*Whilst every effort will be made to locate bats they are wild animals and we cannot guarantee their presence during the walk.
