How do time slots work?

When you are pre-booking your visit via the portal, you will be asked to pick a day of visit and a time slot. On the day of your visit, you should not attempt to check in before your chosen time as during peak periods we may not be able to accommodate you.

If you do arrive early, our Himalaya Visitor Centre and retail outlet will be open.

Great news! Your Twycross Zoo account has been successfully migrated to our new booking system. To set up your account you'll need to follow the link below where you'll be asked to enter your email address. 
Once successfully entered you'll be sent a password reset email which will allow you to finish the setup of your new account.
Once in the account you’ll need to upload your photo into the new system, please click ‘My passes’ and take your new photo. This means that next time you visit you’ll only need to scan one pass to enter the zoo and it’ll be quicker for you!

You can purchase an Annual Ticket online via our website. You will need to create a profile in the portal and upload a photograph relating to each Annual Ticket holder. This can be done by following the process within the portal. All users will need to upload a photo prior to their visit.

After completing your booking online you will be sent your e-tickets. Please keep this email safe as this is your proof of purchase. Tickets can also be saved into your chosen digital wallet. You will be required to show this confirmation when visiting Twycross Zoo along with your Annual Ticket photo. Twycross Zoo reserves the right to refuse entry without presentation of Annual Tickets and identification. 

You must pre-book your return visits at least a day in advance via the Visitor Portal. Read our booking guide or watch our video to learn how.

Yes, you will need to pre-book all visits online. Please login to your account to book your preferred date and time of visit. Please note, you will need to book one ticket for each Annual Ticket holder.

Your Annual Ticket details will be included within your booking confirmation email and stored within your online account. Please keep the email including your original e-ticket safe as you will be asked to show this when visiting Twycross Zoo as proof that you are an Annual Ticket holder. If you forget your account details, you will be able to reset your password via the portal and if you delete your digital pass, we will be able to recover this on-site upon proof of identification.

Only the original purchaser of each Annual Ticket and those associated with the account can use the tickets. Upon arrival at the zoo you will be required to present both your Annual Ticket and your digital photograph.

No, that is not possible, Gift Aid is only applicable on tickets purchased at Twycross Zoo or via our official website.

Yes, the value of the gift card can be used against annual tickets, annual memberships, soft play, mobility hire and animal experiences.

Yes, you can upgrade your Annual Ticket to a Conservation Membership within 28 days of your original Annual Ticket or Pass Plus purchase. If you wish to upgrade more than 28 days after your initial purchase the remaining time on your membership will be adjusted accordingly. As an Annual Member, you will not need to book your visit in advance although you can do via the portal if you wish to do so. You can visit whenever you want, just remember to bring your membership card on the day of your visit.

At the moment, you will still need to present your physical membership card to the admissions team on the day of your visit.

No, you must create an online account through the portal on our website in order to become a member and access your exclusive member benefits.

We offer Blue Peter badge holders free admission to Twycross Zoo . One paying adult is required for each Blue Peter badge holder obtaining free admission. There is no requirement to book a ticket in advance, just remember to bring your Blue Peter ID card to show at our admission kiosk on the day of your visit. 

Tickets are available for any date however are subject availability, Annual Ticket holders must pre-book. Annual Tickets are solely for entrance to Twycross Zoo and do not include admission to partner zoos and may not include access to particular special events, corporate events or educational events.

The 12 month period is from your date of purchasing the Annual Ticket.
