From interactive play moments, families can explore a magical woodland setting where the story comes to life around them. Children can train as Gruffalo Rangers, meet the Gruffalo himself, and discover some of the animals from the story, with plenty of interactive moments and familiar favourites brought to life.
The experience also introduces a dedicated craft zone featuring content from author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Schaffer, alongside immersive storytelling moments in the Gruffalo Glade, giving families the chance to pause, play and enjoy the story together.
Families can also enjoy a Gruffalo Picnic, where families can sit down and enjoy tasty Gruffalo-themed treats in a ready-made picnic box, making it a highlight for Gruffalo lovers this May half-term.
Beyond the Gruffalo Discovery Land, visitors can explore the home of a diverse range of species from across the animal kingdom. Here, visitors can come face to face with some of the world's most endangered big cats, including Sumatran tigers and Amur leopards, as well as being the only zoo in the UK to care for the four great apes.
With warmer days ahead, families can also cool off at the Wet N Wild Splash Park, included with zoo entry and the perfect spot for little adventurers to run wild after a day of exploring.
