Twycross Zoo offers glimpse into the animal action with NEW Conservation Evening Talk
This February, Twycross Zoo will host their first Conservation Evening Talk of 2023, giving visitors a glimpse into the action happening behind the scenes at the leading conservation charity.
‘Untold Stories: The last three years at Twycross Zoo’ is the first of a series of evening talks hosted by Twycross Zoo, which highlight some of our many important conservation projects, breeding programmes and international in-situ work.
The event will take place on Monday 27 February 2023 from 6pm to 7.30pm in Windows on the Wild at Twycross Zoo and will feature a series of short talks from the zoo’s very own Animal Team Managers; sharing updates and untold stories about the animal collection. Including, animal births, new arrivals, moves, as well as exciting refurbishments and developments.
Lisa Gillespie, Research & Conservation Manager at Twycross Zoo, said:
“We are delighted to kick-start our Conservation Evening Talks with a round-up of the last three years at the zoo, and who better to share these untold stories than our very own zookeepers.
“As a conservation charity, we work on many different projects that support conservation, education and research of the world’s most endangered species; and this is a wonderful opportunity for the public and our visitors to hear first-hand the latest news from the zoo.”
