- Twycross Zoo is located on the A444, which can be accessed via the A5 and the M42 junction 11
- Follow the brown attraction signs
- Parking is £4 per vehicle and can be booked in advance, or at one of the machines near the visitor centre (Himalaya).
Travel Update (from 15 April)
Visitors travelling to Twycross Zoo should be aware of ongoing roadworks nearby from Wednesday 15 April 2026.
Severn Trent are carrying out essential water pipe replacement works on:
- Burton Road (temporary traffic lights)
- Ashby Road (planned road closure from July)
These works are expected to last for several weeks and may cause delays.
Recommended route
To avoid disruption, we strongly recommend travelling to the zoo via the M42:
Exit at Junction 11 (Appleby Magna)
Follow local signage to Twycross Zoo
Please allow extra time
We advise all visitors to allow additional time for their journey, especially during weekends and school holidays.
