Twycross Zoo - Follow Your Heart

Opening Times: 10am - 6pm

Food & Drink

In line with government guidance around Covid-19, we’ve made some changes to our restaurants, cafes and kiosks at Twycross Zoo.

Visitors are required to wear a face covering when entering collecting takeaway food and drink from our indoor cafes and restaurants.

You’ll find delicious menus with dishes prepared from scratch by our talented chefs using carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients at all of the restaurants and cafes at Twycross Zoo. We only use free range eggs, sourced from Oakland Farm in Shropshire, Fairtrade Costa coffee, our fish is sustainably sourced and our bananas are Fairtrade – we’re sure you’ll taste the difference.

The View Restaurant

The View Restaurant, located inside the Himalaya visitor centre, has re-opened for eat-in dining every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am for visitors who are ordering food.

In line with government guidance around Covid-19, tables in our restaurant are restricted and are available on a walk-up, first come, first served basis. Pre-booking is unavailable.

When visitors arrive at The View Restaurant they will be greeted by a hostess and asked to scan a QR code for track and trace. Hand sanitiser will be available to use on arrival too. If a table is available, visitors will be escorted to a social-distanced table and given a disposable menu.

The new restricted food menu is available to view here.

All food and drinks must be ordered and payments made at the table. Card payments are preferred but cash will be accepted too. A 10% discount on food and drinks is available for Twycross Zoo Members with a Membership I.D Card, as usual. Once meals are finished our friendly team will politely ask that you leave and enjoy the rest of your day at Twycross Zoo so they can promptly sanitise the table for our next diners.

Vine Café

This café serves Costa specialities alongside a range of paninis and soup made by our in-house baker.

Children can choose five items from a selection of sandwiches, snacks, fruit and treats for just £4.95.

The Catch Fish Bar

Situated by the gorillas and lemur walk-through, this relaxed and friendly restaurant is where you can enjoy traditional fish and chips to take away.

Our fish and chips are always cooked to order from scratch! We’re proud to only buy cod from sustainable sources and the potatoes for our chips are from Smithy Farm near Atherstone. Our menu features pies, fish fingers and more!

For children, sausage, cod or chicken nuggets with chips and a drink is just £6
