Celebrating conservation education across the globe. Twycross Zoo’s latest collaboration with Borneo Nature Foundation
Twycross Zoo has announced it’s latest project with conservation partners Borneo Nature Foundation…
As a conservation charity, Twycross Zoo supports a number of in-situ conservation projects around the world. This work is more than just releasing and supporting animals in the wild, it also includes providing learning, education and resource to communities. Something that the zoo believes is vitally important for the future success of our planet.
As part of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) #ZooTales campaign, Twycross Zoo are working with Borneo Nature Foundation to celebrate reading, education and zoos.
This week, on 27 & 28 February, Twycross Zoo’s award-winning education team will deliver free readings of ‘The Little Gibbon Who Lost His Song’ for visitors. The book, an inspiring animal story, written by the Borneo Nature Foundation. As part of this collaboration of learning, the BNF team will also be reading the story to groups of children in Indonesia.
