Twycross Zoo thanks NHS workers with a free day out this January
Leading conservation charity Twycross Zoo is inviting all NHS staff to enjoy a free visit to the Zoo this January.
Until 31st January*, health workers can enjoy free entry to the Zoo alongside a paying visitor, with the chance to discover around 400 animals from 80 different species across the 100-acre site.
NHS personnel can come face to face with some of the world’s most fascinating species for free, as well as the chance to see the four great apes up close- chimpanzee, orangutan, gorilla and bonobo, the only UK Zoo home to all four of these magnificent mammals.
Ahead of an exciting year for Twycross Zoo which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, visitors can experience some of the brand-new activities announced for 2023, including free children’s entertainment at the pop-up Brio Play area, free of charge every day from 10am to 4pm.

*NHS personnel get free entry to Twycross Zoo until 31st January 2023 on presentation of valid photo employment ID such as an NHS staff card. If no photo employment ID is available, a December 2022 payslip in addition to a form of photo ID such as a driving licence or passport will be accepted.
ID must be shown at Twycross Zoo admission kiosks to gain free entry. Free entry is only available with an adult, child or concession paid ticket, that is purchased on the Twycross Zoo website or at the admission kiosks.
Twycross Zoo reserve the right to refuse entry to if there are more free NHS personnel tickets verses adult, child, or concession tickets. Free entry with an accompanying Twycross Zoo Member. Under 17s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Twycross Zoo reserves the right to change or withdraw the promotion at any time.
