Workshops
Workshops are delivered using a flexible framework and include practical activities to encourage application and contextualisation of knowledge such as puzzle solving and games.
Our workshops use artefacts and props, both real and artificial. We also offer expeditions, touching on key topics whilst visiting animal habitats. We offer workshops and expeditions for learners of all ages, from EYFS to Higher Education and professional development.

We have a yearly schedule of alternative experiences for Home Educators at Twycross Zoo. Outreach
Help us to promote nature-connectedness amongst young people in the Midlands by bringing conservation education to YOU.
Our outreach visits foster a curiosity and compassion for wildlife, with the aim to inspire a new generation of motivated, passionate conservationists.
Why are school trips so important?
School trips help students improve their confidence as they experience different adventures. They allow students to gain communication and social skills as they develop new friendships during trips.
Educational trips such as visits to Twycross Zoo are great for helping students get an understanding of animals, conservation, and why different species are important. Zoo trips are especially great for those that aren’t fully comfortable around animals.
